My name is Jessie. I am a stay-at-home mom to four kids under 7 in a small Missouri town. This is our first year officially homeschooling. And we are trying to adopt a little girl from Ethiopia.
The Husband works some hard, crazy hours away from home to provide for us and this year it is my goal to learn to make from scratch most of what we use instead of buying from the store, be content and make-do with what we have, and learn to cut our grocery bill down.
I like learning about how our grandmothers and great-grandmothers did things, and I hope to employ some of their techniques in my quest to make a more simplified, hand-made life here at home.
